Become a part of our Summer Family

The Holmes Run Acres Recreation Association (HRARA), often referred to as Holmes Run Pool, offers three sparkling pools in a lovely wooded, private park-like environment with picnic areas, grills, and recreational activities – right in your own back yard! It is a healthy and safe gathering place for the individuals and families of our community.

Holmes Run Pool is a refreshing haven for summer activities: swimming, sunbathing, grilling, picnicking, aqua aerobics, ping pong, foosball, evening movie nights, and special events!  Enroll your children in our energetic swim team, the Hurricanes, where they will get daily exercise and a have a positive team experience.  Holmes Run Pool is a place to meet your neighbors and enjoy your friends and family.  Our friendly pool is made up of a diverse community, which welcomes all.

Among the surrounding community pools, you will get the very best value for your money at Holmes Run Pool. Find us nestled at the bottom of a hill off Gallows Road, next to Woodburn Elementary, in a shaded wooded area that is sheltered from the noisy road traffic, yet still offering easy access to our parking area. Bordered by a large wooded area owned by the Fairfax Schools on two sides and by a quiet neighborhood on the remaining side, we are a respite from the intensity of the Washington Area.
