Movie Night: Sound of Music Sing-Along

Is your goat herd lonely? Are you Team Nun or Team Captain? How do you solve a problem like Julie Andrews? If you’re looking for something good to do‑re‑mi, we have one of your favorite things. It’s the 60th anniversary of this classic movie, and time to introduce it to a new generation. Bring your kids, grandkids, great-grandkids (or even mediocre grandkids), your friends, and your singing voice for an unforgettable trip to Austria including on-screen lyrics. Bonus points if you cut up your curtains to make lederhosen for the kids! This is a two‑night event. The movie is almost 3 hours long, so we will enjoy the first hour and sixteen‑going‑on‑seventeen minutes on Friday night once the sun has gone to bed, then say “Adieu, adieu” to you and you and you. On Saturday night we’ll return to climb a mountain or two, or perhaps every mountain. (Rated G. Runtime 2hr 54min.)
