Spring Work Party: Prep

Weather permitting, meet us at the pool to help get the grounds ready for the season. Bring your gardening gloves, shovels (both small & large), yard trimming tools (especially powered!), and help clean up our grounds. We could even use a leaf blower or two.

Membership involvement in this important work helps keep our dues low.  Teens who help can earn service hours needed to meet their middle and high school requirements so bring them along!

How you can help:

• Pick-up sticks, clear remaining leaves from non-natural areas
• Pick-up trash
• Weed
• Trim plants
• Remove soil from bed along baby pool fence & walkway. If soil is added, cover so seeds don’t get in it until we plant
• Plant azaleas along upper pump room stairs (amend soil w/coffee grinds)
• Plant any other plants that have been donated
